TOFFIA (Rieti)

Set on a rocky outcrop

Toffia is a small medieval village /borgo in the province of Rieti, located in the picturesque Farfa Valley, perched on a rocky spur near the Sabine Mountains.
It is rich in art and architecture, and is one of the regenerated villages of Sabina. The territory of Toffia is part of the Monte degli Elci SCI (Site of Community Interest) area and offers a wealth of nature trails. It is part of the Borghi del Farfa Ecomuseum, which unites five villages with the aim of promoting them on a cultural and tourist level.

In continuity with the last editions of the festival, the two days of Attraversamenti Multipli in Toffia – 23 and 24 June – are developed by involving and dialoguing with the spaces of the historic centre and are dedicated to the new generations of spectators: kids and teenagers.

Toffia is only 40 km from Rome and 5 km from the historic Abbey of Farfa.
From Rome it is easily reached via the Salaria.
Taking the A1 towards Florence from the G.R.A., continue until the Fiano Romano exit; from there, take the SS 4 Salaria towards Rieti, until the Rieti/Casali di Poggio Nativo/Toffia exit, at Km 49.2. Turn in the direction of Toffia, on Via Farense; it takes about 5 minutes to reach the village.

The two days in Toffia are organised with the collaboration of the Municipality of Toffia.
