From 22 February to 20 March 2024, Margine Operativo in network with the Ecoritmi, launched a national open call for artists active in the contemporary performing arts, to support through three artistic residences in natural urban landscapes three projects that involve the creation of performative formats in dialogue with the urban nature in a green perspective and of environmental and social sustainability.
The three artistic residences take place between April and June 2024, in the spaces of the park of Torre del Fiscale, Rome.
The Ecoritmi network is formed by Fondazione Roma Tre Teatro Palladium (network’s leader), Eticae-Stewardship in action and Margine Operativo and was formed in January 2024 to realize two projects:
– METAMORPHOSIS – projecting culture in the changing world (2024)
– R.E.T.E – Reuse, ecology, technology, empowerment in the sustainable management of entertainment events (2024 / 2025)
Both projects are realized with the contribution of the Ministry of Culture – General Direction of Contemporary Creativity within the Investment 3.3 of the PNRR – “Capacity building for cultural operators to manage the digital and green transition” funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU.
As part of the METAMORFOSI project, the national call to artists and companies came to life for the creation of three artistic residencies in natural urban landscapes.
The residencies are curated and managed by the artistic group Margine Operativo and by the multidisciplinary festival Attraversamenti Multipli, offering the companies/artists involved an economic contribution and creative accompaniment.
The three selected training projects will present their work developed through the residency in the form of performances / training outcomes / public restitutions as part of the Attraversamenti Multipli 2024 festival.

– RACCOGLIERE PIETRE by Enrico Malatesta
residency: Enrico Malatesta (field research and sound action)
-RUTH by Francesca Cola
residency: Francesca Cola (concept and performer) and Paola Lesina (performer and live soundscape)
