LA REINA DEL FOMENTO aka Claudia Vernier, lead-singer of Los3saltos and the Istituto Italiano di Cumbia, composer, performer, musical agitator of Roman nights, devotee and lover of sounds from the world, has over the years built her career as a djette around the concept of ‘fomento’. Her selecta is mainly focused on the ideal of fiesta and ranges from one end of the globe to the other, winking at the desire to dance of the people listening. Her sphere of action starts with cumbia and all its possible declinations, passing through ‘beautiful’ Italian music (as she likes to call it) and ranging to where one would least expect to arrive.

La Reina Del Fomento aka Claudia Vernier agitator of Roman nights, leader of the Roman cumbia campiony Los3saltos, singer and performer in the Istituto Italiano di Cumbia, a project conceived and curated by Davide Toffolo of the Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti, musician in the Roman murga group Los Adoquines de Spartaco and, last but not least, activist in “centro sociale Spartaco”, Rome.
