Con HAPPINESS, RASOTERRA circo ci regala una riflessione sulla felicità.
A caccia della felicità si può correre tutta la vita senza mai raggiungerla, e forse è dietro l’angolo. Come trovare l’equilibrio fra l’accontentarsi di ciò che si ha ed il perseguire i propri sogni?
Questo spettacolo per la strada porta un momento di leggerezza, ma vuole anche far riflettere sul come divertirsi nella vita!
HAPPINESS offre un’opportunità per accorgersi che si può cambiare. È un tentativo di far sentire felicità, sorprendersi nella felicità.
La ricerca artistica circo RASOTERRA si presenta come un salto, un tentativo di decollo, una sfida ai nostri piedi incollati al suolo.
La compagnia nasce a Bruxelles nel 2010 dal desiderio di dare forma all’intenso lavoro fisico e creativo di Damiano Fumagalli e Alice Roma. Nel 2012, “Panni Sporchi” è il primo spettacolo di Rasoterra, frutto dalla collaborazione con la regista e creatrice di performance Firenza Guidi. Nella primavera del 2012 Claire Ruiz, acrobata francese della Companie Tandem, formatasi presso la ESAC (Bruxelles), inizia a collaborare con i due ciclisti italiani. Il trio crea un primo numero: Totem. Nel marzo 2014 Rasoterra presenta lo spettacolo di strada “La balena volante”, e in luglio 2019, col sostegno di Cartons Production presenta sempre in strada“VIRUS”.
Sempre nel settembre 2019 debutta “Granelli” la prima produzione per bambini della compagnia, un progetto in coproduzione con Cordata F.O.R.
il 2020 è l’anno di “Happiness” e “BOA”, due produzioni che parlano di felicità, come motore per affrontare l’oggi.

RASOTERRA MAKES US REFLECT ON THE CONCEPT OF HAPPINESS.
In HAPPINESS, circo Rasoterra makes us reflect on the concept of Happiness.
We can run our whole life in the pursuit of happiness and never reach it. Perhaps, though, it is just around the corner.
How to find the balance between being satisfied with what we have and pursuing our dreams?
Happiness brings moments of lightness, and overall makes us think about how to have fun in life !
A show thought as a tool for optimism.
By staging ordinary situations, we work on the many possible reactions, leading them to exasperation.
We present the perpetual attempt to win a challenge, the pride of not wanting to give up, the thrill of having made it.
Research brings up interesting paradoxes. By their development in a comic-dramatic key we show to the viewer how much the “point of view” can affect our own experience.
RASOERRA ‘s artistic research looks like a leap, an attempt to take off, a challenge to our feet glued to the ground.
The company was born in Brussels in 2010 from the desire to give shape to the intense physical and creative work of Damiano Fumagalli and Alice Roma. In 2012, “Dirty Laundry” is Rasoterra’s first show, the result of the collaboration with the director and performance creator Firenza Guidi. In the spring of 2012 Claire Ruiz, a French acrobat from the Companie Tandem, trained at ESAC (Brussels), begins to collaborate with the two Italian cyclists. The trio creates a first number: Totem. In March 2014 Rasoterra presents the street show “The flying whale”, and in July 2019, with the support of Cartons Production, always presents “VIRUS” on the street.
Also in September 2019, “Granelli”, the company’s first children’s production, made its debut, a project in co-production with Cordata F.O.R.
2020 is the year of “Happiness” and “BOA”, two productions that speak of happiness, as an engine to face today.
