MUSIC LIVE PERFORMANCE

An altar of love around which you can dance, sing, play, pray, find yourself and be reborn.
You can take your demons by the hand, the negativity that passes through you, and transform them into new energy thanks to a collective dance. This is “Altar of Love”.
An electronic ritual that delves into the depths of the ego, and takes the listener/spectator to a non-place where past and future coexist, where it is possible to overcome one’s fears, embrace one’s demons, and exorcise your malaise through singing, music and dance. Eastern and Mediterranean percussion intertwine with trills of Salento tambourines, synthesizers as aggressive as dragons and as deep as the night guide ancestral melodies that dance hypnotically, in the obsessive rhythm of the soul.

Bio Artist

Vera Di Lecce is a singer, musician, and performer who comes from tradition and develops a personal path of research and experimentation. Her hybrid electronic music merges world percussion with scratchy synths in a ritual of personal and collective regeneration.
Apulian based in Rome, begins her artistic experience within the context of the Salento tradition. Following an experimental pop approach, she offers an eclectic live performance between multi-effect pedals, noise guitars, vocal synths and martial dances. Vera recently collaborated on the song Fimmine Fimmine, produced with Mai Mai Mai and featured on the album Rimorso. The soundscapes she created on her latest album “Altar of Love”, released by Manimal Vinyl (US) and Niafunken (IT), are a fusion of Northern European, Eastern and traditional sounds. She is currently on tour in Italy and Europe to present her album and has composed the music for Francesco Marilungo’s contemporary dance show Stuporosa. Her last work is the soundtrack of Ludivine Large Bessette’s art installation Le mouvement n’échappe pas à la froideur de la pierre: a musical poem about women’s strength and their power against violence and oppression.
