Wow wide web proposes practices of transformation, to stimulate it, under the skin. It’s an immersive environment in which to let words, looks, sounds pass through: an atmospheric experience, a soft self-organised ecosystem, mobile and sonic. It reflects on the connection between realities that make up the vibrating matter in which we are immersed and of which we form a part. It speaks of transformation and dissidence, of sensuality, connection, interdependence and queerness in an extended sense, bringing a choral score for flinta* performers who become posthuman creatures, a collective body in mutation that integrates technology, nature and science fiction. The title points a hidden, fabulous network that amazes, that makes you do WOW and quotes the wood wide web, the underground healing network of plants and mycelia.

Bio Artist
Michela Depetris (she/her) works as an author in performative contexts with hybrid languages between choreography, performance, video, sound and performative and participatory installations, situating her research in an open and mixed field in which each medium always brings with it body practices with an expanded vision of choreography. She designs choreographic-performance devices as potential detonators of temporary micro-revolutions and impermanent visions in movement. She experiments with methodologies and formats that escape conventional logics and usual production timelines, which often slows down, entangles and nourishes her projects.
