DANCE | PERFORMANCE SITE SPECIFIC
« Re-Garde », a contemporary dance performance created in 2015 for a theatre space, has been rethought in a site-specific version, in order to experiment, in the relationship with the audience, with new points of observation and new inclinations, far from the traditional staging. The urban space is inhabited by two performers, mirrors of their projections, different but complementary personalities, able to offer a spontaneous and playful relationship made up of glances and gestures.
The dance, powerful and athletic, expresses a delicate harmony, embedded in a carnal and human vision of life in modern times. The choreographic universe relies on a rhythmic and precise gestural writing: faithful to an alternation of images created with bodies alone.

Bio
Francesco Colaleo (Napoli,1988) and Maxime Freixas (Béziers, 1989), artistic directors of Cie MF, are two freelance dancers, choreographers and teachers. They began their journey in Italy as danz’autori in 2015 with the support of the Network Anticorpi XL and the company Artemis Danza. From 2019, they decided to move the company’s headquarters to France. Cie MF has been a guest in several international festivals and reviews in France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Morocco, Portugal, Poland, Hungary. Francesco and Maxime are interested in humorous, physical and committed body research.
