Parco di Torre del Fiscale / Roma

The Appia Antica Archaeological Park.

Attraversamenti Multipli 2023 ‘inhabits’ with its artistic actions the Torre del Fiscale Park, which represents a ‘green lung’ in a popular and densely populated area of Rome: the Quadraro district.

Parco di Torre del Fiscale is part of the Appia Antica Archaeological Park and is a public urban park. It is rich in historical remains including six Roman aqueducts and one Renaissance aqueduct, and the majestic Torre del Fiscale, a medieval tower from the 12th century, which, at 30 metres high, dominates the entire landscape. It is a wedge/green lung within an area with a very high population density; it is a border space between an urban and archaeological context, between ancient and contemporary, where different urban memories intersect.
The Torre del Fiscale Park was created thanks to a strong demand from citizens and a participatory and regeneration process based on the principles of the European Landscape Convention.

The festival in this edition experiments with the dialogue/interaction between contemporary performing arts and urban nature with the aim of enhancing metropolitan green spaces and strengthening their social and cultural function and promoting the culture of sustainability.

The days and events of Attraversamenti Multipli 2023 at the Parco di Torre del Fiscale – via dell’ Acquedotto Felice 120 – will take place from 26 June to 8 July and are organised in collaboration with ‘La Torre del Fiscale Odv’ which, in agreement with Roma Capitale and the Municipio Roma 7, has had the concession to manage the Park since 2010.
