What do we think about when we are in the park?
Like explorers of the imagination, the voices enrolled in the POLIFONIE URBANE_ecosistemi choral singing workshop took part in two workshop phases in May and September 2025, held outdoors in public spaces and parks in the Tor Pignattara and Quadraro neighbourhoods (Rome). Singing as discreet guests of the city’s soundscape, the voices created a song in parallel with the formation of a aimless itinerary, like small dots scattered in the greenery and as a single body, bringing forth memories like archaeological ruins, confidences and postcards in the void. The performance therefore focuses on a working method developed by the voices involved in the process, re-proposed in a permanent location, imagining travelling with the mind to other places.

Bio Artist
FRANCESCO LEINERI graduated in Composition from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome and has refined his stylistic signature over the years through studies in orchestral conducting, electronic music and performing arts. A musician inclined towards teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration, he has developed a poetics closely linked to storytelling beyond music, drawing on traditional compositional forms that are then renewed in the heterogeneity of performance tout court. He has worked for public bodies, institutions, contemporary art foundations and private productions, receiving commissions and collaborating with, among others, the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, RomaEuropa festival, Fondazione Nicola Trussardi, RAI radio3, Festival di Sanremo, Ikon Gallery, Culture Roma, Infinito produzioni, Sardegna Teatro, Margine Operativo, ANAD Silvio d’Amico and many others.
