A tribute to the strange, the misunderstood. Those left on the margins, those who have never fit in. STRANO takes us into a chaotic and vivid interior universe, where imagination clashes with loneliness and fear. Through a transdisciplinary language, the show transforms the stage into a dreamlike and unstable territory, made of ups and downs, dreams and shadows.
The protagonist’s unpredictable trajectories evoke a profound need for belonging and, at the same time, a rejection of imposed rules. The body becomes a battlefield between desire and constraint, between momentum and collapse, in a feverish dance that oscillates between the restlessness of a child and the poetry of a dreamer.
An intimate journey through fear, isolation, fantasy, and the inevitable act of letting go. A tribute to all the “strange” people who, on the margins, have found their own form of beauty.

C&C Company identifies itself as a project for the creation and development of an ever-evolving artistic language, focused on physical and dramaturgical exploration, designed to convey and share energy and creativity in the most direct, clear and real way possible, in close relation to urgent contemporary social issues. Characterised by constant work without superstructures, C&C is interested in the depth of interpersonal relationships with the aim of bringing truth to the stage through a deeply physical language that allows the audience to feel represented within its universality. The company, founded in 2011 and still under the direction of Carlo Massari – creator, choreographer and transdisciplinary performer active on the contemporary Italian and international scene – has shown a vocation for hybridisation between dance and physical theatre with other artistic codes, and therefore with spoken and sung word, music and contemporary and performative art, since its inception.
