LIVE ELECTROACOUSTIC MUSIC PERFORMANCE

The ancestral, the ritual, individual and choral dance and chanting, are the ultimate goals of BEERCOCK: his powerful live performances are a human rite to be shared with the public, in a historical period crossed by a cultural earthquake making us rethink the deeper dynamics between individuals and community, proximity and distance, physical and digital. His live sampled body-beats and choirs work as a bridge between the urban influences of electronic music, the Afro-American and sub-Saharan music that inspires him and an archaic Mediterranean dimension that runs through the whole sound. On this powerful percussive system, the Voice – BEERCOCK’s master instrument – is free to express itself dynamically and tonally, to permeate the listener with density and emotional strength, almost touching gospel music.
