Le Cardamomò sono / are: Antonia Harper (voce e al violino) / vocals and violin, Marta Vitalini (organetto e percussioni) / accordion and drums Gioia Di Biagio (organetto e glockenspiel) / accordion and glockenspiel e Ivan Radicioni (fiati, voce e chitarra) / wings vocals and guitar.
Il repertorio musicale de Le Cardamomò prende spunto dalla tradizione italiana, francese e dell’est Europa e da autori della scena popolare presente e passata, quali L. Gardel, E. Piaf, Y. Tiersen, M. Nyman, R. Tesi, G. Bregovic.
Voce lirica, organetto, violino, tromba, flicorno e glockenspiel evocano, attraverso melodie antiche e raffinati incastri armonici, atmosfere dal gusto sognante e retrò; non solo musica, ma anche luci soffuse, maschere vittoriane e effetti speciali.
Il loro è uno spettacolo di musiche d’atmosfera, chansons francesi e balli balcanici. Attraverso le loro musiche e le loro storie, Le Cardamomò portano gli ascoltatori in un viaggio metaforico in un’Europa ormai dimentica.
The Le Cardamomò music style is ispirated by Italian traditional music, old French songs and Balkan dances, inspired by artists of present and past: L. Gardel, E. Piaf, Y. Tiersen, M. Nyman, R. Tesi, G. Bregovic.
Le Cardamomò is a curious group of four musicians: operatic voice, violin, accordions, guitar and wings. Not jus live music but they combining music with speech, performing arts and special effect. They created a dreamy show where they bring the audience on a figurative journey through the harbors, taverns and ballrooms of a lost Europe.
LE CARDAMOMÒ nascono nel 2010 da un’esigenza e una curiosità: quella di proporre un repertorio musicale antico e ricercato dall’atmosfera sognante e retrò.
Nel 2012 esce l’album “Cardamomò”.
Nel 2013 musicano i racconti di Concita de Gregorio in “Manchi solo tu” di A. Fabrizi. Esce il videoclip “Valse de Meduse” ispirato al teatro d’ombre cinesi e riceve premi in numerosi Festival nazionali e internazionali.
Nel 2014 esce l’album “Valse de Meduse” che raccoglie musiche e racconti dello spettacolo omonimo presentato a Parigi.
Nel 2015 Le Cardamomò sono in tournèe in USA dove riscuotono un enorme successo in Florida e Louisiana.
LE CARDAMOMÒ formed in the beginning of 2010 playing a retrò and refined repertoire.
On 2012 released their first album: “Cardamomò”
On 2013 they produced a music video “Valse de Meduse”, inspired by surrealist art and created with the chinese shadows technique that won prizes at several national and international festivals.
On 2014 released the album “Valse de Meduse” that collect the homonym show that combines music, stories, shadows and video-projections. The show appeared for the first time in Paris.
On 2015 they stage on USA where Le Cardamomò receiving great feedbacks in festivals and radios.
