Solo Show
di e con / written and played by Francesco Leineri (pianoforte, loop station, toy piano, vibrafono, tamburi, fisarmonica, suoni dall’oltretomba e strumenti giocattolo)
(piano, loop station, toy piano, vibraphone, percussions, accordion, sounds from the netherworld and toy instruments)
SOLO SHOW is a box of sounds inside of which Francesco Leineri has spent years searching for an innovative, colourful and visionary musical language. The concert – conceived and created inside of a set of more than ten musical instruments, whether functioning, malfunctioning or completely broken – is a mixture of freak chants, obsessive loops, brilliant fluid improvisations and circus-like atmospheres that are typical of one-man-band exhibitions. Without neglecting the seriousness and elegance of musical activity, SOLO SHOW is therefore an original and funny way to create self-made music, in a sincere and unique way: reinventing our skins despite the grotesque, frenetic and chaotic world in which we have been unwittingly thrown.
