In questo primo studio indagheremo sullo stato che precede la rottura.
Partendo dal corpo come ogni volta, la ricerca sarà condotta con danzatori che provengono dalla break, come danza spontanea, necessaria, di resistenza.
Lentamente vireremo verso una riflessione contemporanea sull’oggi, alla posizione dell’artista che se consapevole e onesta deve inevitabilmente schierarsi oltre che resistere.
La rottura per noi è trasformazione, consapevolezza, e la tensione è la situazione in cui si comprende appieno la condizione nella quale ci troviamo.
Lasceremo affiorare il suono che tradurrà le nostre parole di corto circuito in rivolta.
Non abbiamo niente da perdere e nessun potere che ci protegge, non costruiremo né un balletto né un opera teatrale, liberi di scoppiare.
Spezzati saremo ancora più cattivi.
This first study will examine the emotional state preceding the breaking point.
Starting from the body, the research will be led by dancers who come from break dance style, as a spontaneous, dance that is necessary to resist.
We will slowly change direction toward a reflection about the role of the artist in the nowadays society, that if he is honest and aware he must necessary to take a stand in addition to the action of resisting.
In our opinion the breaking point is the awareness one and the tension created is the situation through which we can totally understand the condition we are feeling.
We will let the sound to surface and translate our words of short circuit of insurrection.
We have nothing to lose, and no power is protecting us.
We won’t create neither a ballet nor a theater pièce, but free to explode and broken we will be even more bad.
Gruppo nomade per definizione, animato da una forte tensione etica, Balletto Civile nasce nel 2003 per
volontà della coreografa e danzatrice ligure Michela Lucenti. Fin dall’inizio si caratterizza per un linguaggio
scenico “totale” privilegiando l’interazione tra teatro, danza e il canto dal vivo originale e la profonda relazione tra gli interpreti. Dal 2009 la Compagnia è stata in residenza artistica presso la Fondazione Teatro Due di Parma. Dal 2015 l’attività di BC è sostenuta dalla Fondazione Teatro della Tosse di Genova. Nel 2010 e nel 2012 BC riceve il Premio Nazionale della Critica ANCT.
Balletto Civilewas formed in 2003 and has been led since its inception by Michela Lucenti. Now is a permanent company of performers motivated by artistic inspiration and creative need. The focus of the creative approach is on researching a kind of movement coming out from deep relationship between performers. BC works on a kind of “ total scenic language” where theatre, dance and original singing naturally interact. Since 2009 BC has been on artistic residence at Fondazione Teatro Due di Parma. From 2015 his works is supports by Fondazione Teatro della Tosse of Genova. BC won ANCT Award in 2010 and 2012.
